Classic Alfa's new warehouse is completed

Finally we’re happy to report the new building is finished!

Having acquired the building in the summer the first thing we needed to do was have a structural mezzanine floor fitted across the entire building.

We then began installing a two tier shelving system on the upper floor, giving us in effect 3 floors and nearly 3 times the storage space of our old building.

We installed the first level of shelving allowing us to move stock from our old premises and, having built a new office on the ground floor, we were able to move in by the middle of September.

It wasn’t until the slowdown leading up to Xmas that we had time to finish the top tier giving us room to store some of the more popular second-hand items as well as our ever expanding range of 750 & 101 Giulietta parts.

We have also started a new range of dismantled, vapour-blasted engine components so that you can now buy known-quantity, clean as new cylinder heads, engine blocks, oil pans, con-rods, gearbox components etc. etc. Please see the Used Parts section of our website for prices.

We have such a large stock of 105 engines & gearboxes that we can offer cylinder heads & engine blocks for 1300, 1600 (inc. early FIA eligible canister oil filter type), 1750 & 2000 cars, on the shelf ready to go, as well as all gearbox variants. As many of you will know, many 105 blocks now suffer from corrosion at the base of the cylinder liners & buying an oily, used engine can sometimes turn out to be a complete waste of time as the block is scrap due to corrosion. By having the components professionally cleaned (blocks are solvent bathed & hot pressure washed, all other components are vapour blasted as well) you can see what you are buying & we can assess the quality of what we are selling.

The top tier is still being organised but it’s a real Aladdin’s cave of new original Alfa parts, second-hand hard to find items & new parts for the older cars from 1955 to 1964.

The ground floor houses our office, exhausts systems, cars & engines being dismantled & our packing area.
