We have been able to secure an extra day at historic Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit - on Saturday the 18th of August. To book a place, please phone us on 0208 688 4443 or email to info@classicalfa.com to make sure you don't miss out. As this is an extra day for us, we are expanding the invitation from 105 Series and earlier cars to also include Alfas up to 1982, including Alfasuds, Alfetta GTVs and other classic Alfa Romeos! As always, all Spiders from 1955 until 1993 are very welcome.
As in previous years the track will be open exclusively for our use all day from 9am until 5pm with a one hour break for lunch. 10 cars will be on the circuit at any time ensuring more than ample track time for everyone as well as a nice safe uncluttered track and hardly any queuing between sessions.
Goodwood will be providing an instructor for the day who can be booked through us in advance or on the day. This can either be with the instructor driving a couple of laps and then a driver swap, or it can be all done from the passenger seat with you driving the full 12 minute session.
Spectators are more than welcome throughout the day (just turn up anytime - no need to book) and the restaurant and snack van will be open the entire time. If you wish to spectate and be allowed to go in the pit lane or in someone’s car as a passenger you need to be signed in as a spectator at either 8.00am or 10.30am. Spectators arriving in Alfas (old or new!) will be invited to take part in the free lunchtime parade laps as well.
Due to Goodwood offering this day to us at late notice, we have been able to negotiate a reduced price for the day from them. The price for this day for one car & driver is at £199 including VAT, with additional drivers welcome at £70 including VAT. This is payable in full, in advance by contacting us either by phone on 020 8688 4443 or by email - info@classicalfa.com . Tuition session can be booked for £20 in advance - this will guarantee you a session in the morning with the Goodwood instructor.
This is a great opportunity to drive Europe's last remaining truly historic motor circuit still with it's original layout as driven by many of our motoring hero's in the fifties & sixties. The day is completely uncompetitive & the emphasis is on fun & safety - it's a fantastic track day whether you've done many or it's your first. Aside from the driving, its always a great day socially and a paddock full of more than 50 classic Alfa Romeos at lunchtime is always a great meeting point.
