Bolts to main bearing caps & sump mounts and improves torsional rigidity and reduces oil drag on the rotating crankshaft. 105 blocks with 140bhp+ can twist and cause bearing failure. This plate reduces twist & helps prevent oil starvation - for 2000 engines.
