FIA specification full race 1600 cylinder head. Built and assembled by leading UK competition Alfa engine builder Jim Evans on a correct early 1600 cylinder head.
These heads are vapour blasted (for an "as new" finish) then fitted with 8mm stem (for better gas flow) 44 mm inlet valves and standard sized exhaust valves (for improved low rpm torque), race valve springs & Jim's own special camshaft profiles. The camshafts are a hollow billet design for reduced weight and the head is designed to be used with re-jetted 40mm carbs. Jim's special porting design to both inlet manifold & head greatly improve gas flow & the head will give an extra 25-30 hp over a standard cylinder head.
Offered on an exchange with £250.00 exchange surchange refundable upon receipt of you old head (min thickness 111mm) in rebuildable condition.
