Latest version of the popular 123 Electronic Distributor to fit all 101 and 105 series twin-cam engines. This version features a USB input option to allow you to create and modify your own advance curves. We can pre-load this distributor with either a standard road, fast road or race curve (or two & you can switch between the them!) - please request when ordering.

We only recommend you attempt to adjust or plot curves if you are very experienced and have access to a rolling road. It is all too easy to make incorrect adjustments that could cause detonation and possible engine damage.

The unit is programmed with “electronic dashboard” software (included) and can be done while the engine is running. Required minimum of Windows XP, 1 Gigahertz processor, 256 Megabytes RAM & USB port. If you are going to use the software with the engine running then you will need to have a well-shielded high quality USB lead (Belkin etc).

 The electronic "dashboard" features :

temperature gauge ( selectable in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit )

manifold pressure ( selectable in Bar or inches Hg / Psi )

rev. counter ( 0 to 8000 rpm crankshaft )

spark-energy gauge ( primary coil current )

total-advance gauge ( in degrees crankshaft )  

You can draw (or enter numerically) the advance curve you wish and then store it in one of two locations in the unit. You can (if you choose) wire a switch to the dash and switch between two curves at any time (so you can use a different curve for normal fuel or race fuel or LPG). Also very useful if you want to quickly compare two similar tuning curves.

** Obviously it is very easy to detonate your engine if you do not know what you are doing so we only recommend this product to experienced tuners who fully understand ignition timing and we cannot be held responsible for any engine damage that may result through bad curve programming! **
